The Boat Trim System is a revolutionary patented system using vertical interceptor blades rather than the conventional plates. Thanks to the water intercept technology you get a smoother ride and more quickly onto the plane. Complies with CE and ABYC requirements. The main components of the system are:

Many factors affect the choice of properly sized trim unit configurations, and the ultimate responsibility for selection is up to the boat owner. These sizing recommendations are based on average performance. Your choice may vary based on power, engine configuration, weight distribution, type of boat and use. When making a choice, please remember that the largest interceptor configuration that will comfortably fit on the transom will be the most efficient. The Boat Trim System is designed to fully replace conventional trim tabs.


Sizing guidelines for planing hulls

For semi-planing hulls, it may be necessary to increase the length of the trim unit configuration.

    An item(s) may be returned within the first 30 days after the item(s) is shipped to you. Merchandise must be in new, unused condition with all original packaging in good condition; plus parts, accessories, manuals, and/or warranty cards included. You will need to receive a return authorization number (RA #) as well as instructions from our Customer Service Department.

    Warranty: Volvo Penta parts carry a (1) year manufacturers warranty. Should the part you received fail after install, take a copy of the receipt to an authorized Volvo Penta dealer for a warranty evaluation. If determined that the part failed due to a defect the Volvo dealer will supply a replacement part to the consumer. If needed the Volvo dealer could assist in installation of the new part at his normal labor rate.
