General Policy

We work hard to provide you with the best value in product prices and shipping charges, and to get your order to you in a timely, safe, and convenient manner. Internet sales involve the cost of getting the product to you, and shipping carriers base that cost on the size and weight of the package, plus the distance the package travels from our warehouse to your door. We keep our product prices low, negotiate low shipping charges from our carriers and pass those savings on to you, and we don't charge sales tax (except for residents of Utah), so your order from iboats.com is the best value for all your boating needs.

Our standard shipping method is UPS ground, which typically takes 2-5 additional transit days after the order has left our warehouse, depending on your delivery address. We also offer other shipping options, including expedited delivery, and the actual delivery date will depend on the shipping options you choose.

Shipping to Canada

Most products sold by iboats.com can be purchased and shipped to Canada. Some restrictions apply to certain items, such as hazardous materials, over-weight products, and the method of shipping. Available product lines, shipping rates and fees may vary depending on the delivery address for your order.

Currently, iboats.com offers ground shipping to all Canada provinces. Our Canadian brokerage service accelerates your orders through the Customs clearance process and facilitates the delivery of your order through Canada Post or the best method based on your shipping address. We do not currently offer expedited shipping methods to Canada.

At iboats.com we want to simplify your transaction and give you a pleasing purchasing experience so you'll come shop with us again and again. We therefore calculate all the duties, taxes, and other fees specific to Canadian orders and show you the total landed cost of getting the order to your door. There are no hidden fees and will be no surprise COD charges when the package is delivered to you.

Order History & Tracking

We provide several methods to track your order and keep you informed of your order status and expected delivery date. After completing an iboats.com purchase transaction, an account will automatically be created for your provided email address. You'll receive an email from iboats.com Customer Service informing you of your new User Account and the many benefits it provides. If you don't wish to have an iboats.com Account with password, do nothing and your account won't be registered; however, you can respond to the instructions in the email and easily register your account and setup a password. This will allow you to sign in to your account by choosing the Order Status link from any iboats.com page, where you can browse your order history and track the status of all your orders - tracking numbers are displayed that link to the delivery carrier's tracking webpage.

If you have provided your email address during checkout, we will also email you your invoice, which includes a link for tracking your order and viewing the current status of your order. Refer to your invoice email and tracking link any time you wish to track the status of your order

Volvo Penta Store

We're here to help! If the merchandise you received was defective, damaged, or an error was made by the Volvo Penta Online Store, simply return the merchandise within 30 days of the original shipping date for a full refund.

Please remember, merchandise must still be in brand-new, unused condition with all original packaging in good condition, including any parts, accessories, manuals, or warranty cards. Simply call the Volvo Penta Returns Department for your RA (Return Authorization) number - which must be included with any return.

Some items are non-returnable, such as those listed below. We encourage you review your purchase of these non-returnable items and verify they will meet your needs before placing your order. If for some reason you need to return merchandise for reasons other than those mentioned above, follow the same procedures, obtaining an RA number from Volvo Penta Returns Dept., within 30 days of the original shipping date. Please note that there may be restocking fees, shipping costs, or product change order costs associated with some returns. Feel free to check with the Returns Department for specific terms, conditions, and eligibility.

Unlike our general return policy, we will not accept returns of unsealed or used electronics, or used propellers. Please be careful when ordering to choose the correct item.
